In the previous article, we have talked about how to start a YouTube channel and make money. A thumbnail needs to not only tell the viewer what is in the video but also convey that this video is going to be worth the watch! That is why thumbnails are the key to getting views. For a viewer that means an endless amount of entertainment, but for a YouTube content creator, that means billions of potential competition! There are only so many hours in a day, and people don’t have time to click on every video they see and hope for the best. It was missing the crucial element of being able to more realistically interact with the virtual world and move around inside it. (Note: once you don your headset, you won’t be able to see or feel the buttons on-screen.) Since the S5 had a gyroscope, an accelerometer, a magnetometer, and a screen to simulate buttons, it worked beautifully. Since I did not have my own controller to go alongside the headset, I repurposed my father’s old Samsung Galaxy S5 as a makeshift controller using Google’s deprecated controller emulator. I quickly realized, however, that playing a game in Steam VR or Daydream was much trickier. How can I achieve a greater level of immersion without breaking the bank? At most, this system can mimic sight and sound, but what about body tracking, or at least hand tracking? So far, the only options I've seen are the expensive HTC Vive and Oculus Rift alongside the only slightly cheaper Windows Mixed Reality systems to play more sophisticated VR Games, such as those rendered on a nearby gaming computer. Many people use a basic 'VR' setup consisting of their phone in a headset, some headphones, and nothing else. I came to the conclusion that the most immersive virtual reality mimics as many of our biological senses as possible. With this setup, I am no longer bound to my chair and can get up and feel like I am in this new world rendered by my PC under the desk, even if the experience is not truly immersive. For example, two Wiimotes can easily be mapped to mimic a gamepad split in half using programs like GlovePie and FreePie. While playing regular games in VR, I can map various controllers to different keys on my keyboard. Using the Trinus client, I am able to play many different games in a new perspective, primarily, regular PC games like Call of Duty and Arma III. Soon after, I bought a simple VR headset for my Samsung Galaxy S8. Reminiscing on that day almost a year later, I decided that I wanted to relive those moments in a system I built myself. However, at a virtual reality cafe on Coney Island, New York, a few friends and I got the opportunity to experience immersive gaming in an HTC Vive system. Believe it or not, playing video games at a desktop computer or a console can become bland and worn out. There are plenty more upgrades to choose from in the final categories of gadget skills, gadget tech, and combat, most of these you will want to choose after you have gotten used to the game and figured out your play-style. There is nothing worse than having an enemy drone on their last tread, but you end up getting destroyed because you were in the process of reloading your cannon.īe sure to quickly prioritize these fantastic upgrades to have an advantage over the enemy from the beginning. Although there are several good upgrades, the most important one is to quickly upgrade your reload speed of the 60mm cannon. Since the armor upgrades boost your defensive capabilities, you will also need to upgrade your offensive capabilities. To make sure that you aren’t constantly being blown to bits, invest in the armor upgrades for the Batmobile. Although the mechanics of the Batmobile allow you to dodge many of the incoming projectiles, you will inevitably be hit many times. Along with that, you will constantly be fighting squadrons of unmanned drones. Batmobile and Batmobile Weapons Upgrades Armor UpgradeĪs previously mentioned, you will be relying heavily on the Batmobile to traverse Gotham. This allows you to repeat a process of gliding down, and then using the grapple boost to get back high in the air. The grapple boost allows you to be propelled into the air when grappling. The grapple boost is essential to getting around Gotham quickly outside of the Batmobile. One more upgrade that I would recommend depending on your play style is the grapple boost. Although melee armor would be my first priority, ballistic armor wouldn’t be far behind. One of the things about Arkham Knight is that as the game progresses, you will find yourself taking on more and more enemies that are shooting at you. Ballistic ArmorĪlong with melee armor is ballistic armor. Even if you choose to play as stealthily as possible, you will run into times where you are taking on a horde of enemies intent on pummeling you into submission. Anyone who has played any of the Arkham games will realize that hand-to-hand combat is an extremely important aspect of the game. Melee armor is one of the first upgrades to focus on. The last time the duo met Caird, they gave him a No-Face coin bank as a gesture of goodwill for taking care of their story during the stage adaptation. Ghibli producer and co-founder Toshio Suzuki was present at the event, alongside Canadian-born English director John Caird, who was approved by Suzuki and Ghibli director and co-founder Hayao Miyazaki to direct the play. It’s been roughly four months since Studio Ghibli revealed the main cast for the stage adaptation of its 2001 animated feature film Spirited Away, and last night, fans were able to see the cast on stage together for the first time at a press conference at a hotel in Tokyo’s Minato Ward. Cast appear on stage for the first time to give us a sneak peek at the upcoming production.

Thus, we refer to IECC 2018/ASHRAE 90.1-2016 as the “newest” code cycle. While that isn’t quite ready for publishing yet, the 2016 Standard is out and ready for adoption. In January, I attended the ASHRAE meeting in Atlanta, where we worked on the final stages of the 2019 ASHRAE 90.1 Standard. The Newest Code Cycle: IECC 2018/ASHRAE 90.1-2016 You can think of this as a guideline to help determine which adoptions have been made in your state. The chart above, which is a comprehensive list of codes adoptions in each state, is current as of December 2018. The resources we use for state code changes include the Department of Energy (DOE), the Building Codes Assistance Project (BCAP), and the International Code Council (ICC). This article focuses on changes to roof and wall assembly code requirements, but remember that there are updates to other elements of the building envelope that you should also be aware of. There are 3 major components of an energy code:Īdditionally, there are many elements within the building envelope subject to energy code regulations: This means that IECC is ultimately a more stringent code than the ASHRAE Standard.
