With whooping figures on the box office this year, this movie proved that if a genuine story is presented in a most genuine way without adding many toppings captivates the audience and give them a sense of lightness. The climax is also sweet, good and with a right emotional mix. Alok Nath as Ghasite appears in new cool is successful in catching the attention throughout. Sunny Singh as Titu is not a bit more or less but played his role in a most genuine way bringing realism to the character and also providing the required scope for Kartik Aryan as Sonu and Nushrat Bharucha as sweetie. We always praise role that seems attractive or is a central part of a story and forgot about salt, sugar in the dish. I would also go even forward and say that there’s at-least a director like Luv Ranjan who cares about problems and issues faced by male section apart from gaining sympathy by just highlighting crime against women in a most sadistic way which is now a very common issue on which films and documentaries are being made every day. I found it completely an honest effort by the “Punchnama team” to bring up a light-hearted comedy considering today’s scenario. Even rating the film as misogynist that made it as a fact on Wikipedia is an example of too much judging a film on grounds of objectivity when the scenario is much grey to be certified under any label. Apart from very average and heavy reviews by the critics.
